# Getting Started

### Quick Setup (2 Minutes)

1. **Connect your guitar** to your audio interface
2. **Launch Standalone**
3. **Open Settings** (gear icon or ⌘,)
4. **Select your audio interface** for both Input and Output
5. **Select your input channel.**
6. **Close Settings** and click an empty module slot
7. **Add an amp sim** from the plugin browser
8. **Start playing!**

### Recommended First Settings

| Setting       | Recommended Value                              |
| ------------- | ---------------------------------------------- |
| Buffer Size   | 64 samples (balance of latency and stability). |
| Sample Rate   | 48 kHz (standard)                              |
| Input Channel | Mone or Stereo Pair                            |
